Design Requirements

Design for printing is a file created by a designer that is fully prepared for printing and does not require any changes.

Designs that do not support PostScript CMYK format and are made in programs that do not take into account all the nuances of printing process, such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and others, are not considered to be ready for printing.

The following software should be used to create designs: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, CorelDraw.

Size Before Cropping

Safety Line

Size Before Cropping
Size Before Cropping is a size that includes Trim Zone.

This size is equal to +3 mm from every side or +6 mm in width and length.

For example:
A4 = 210x297 mm + Trim Zone =
216x303 mm.

Attention!
Business cards are an exception. Trim Zone is 2 mm from every side or 4 mm from the top and 4 mm from the bottom. The final size is 94x54 mm..
Envelopes have no Trim Zone.

Safety Line
Safety Line shows borders of the zone where you can safely place all the necessary information and elements. These elements won't be cut and will be on a safe distance from the border.

It is based on a real size:
- 3 mm from every side and 6 mm from the top and bottom.

For example:
Business card = 90x50 mm - 3 mm from every side = 84x44 mm.

ATTENTION!
Pay attention that safety line does not outline the product real size. The background image should cover the whole surface, trim zone included.
